Oxygen Tank

As should come to no surprise if one reads the ABOUT section (*cough*), one will know how highly I hold the work of Chris Colohan and the people with whom he collaborates; it isn’t very punk rock to be effusive with praise, so I won’t be, but I will encourage everyone to check out Cursed, xSectx, Burning Love, Left For Dead, Ruination (you will probably have to dig for that), and the Swarm. I am probably missing a few projects, but what can you do. Poor-decision making has compromised my memory a little bit, but thanks to the superpower of hyperfocus and a degree of obsessiveness granted to me through my state of neurodivergence I am fairly confident I’ve presented an accurate list. ANYWAY, check out the aforementioned groups (I’ve even mostly included links for your listening pleasure and to cater to the gimme gimme gimme mood of the 21st centurty/Kali Yuga) once you’ve popped to Bandcamp to check out a new project Colohan’s put out along with Morgan Carpenter of Hive fame (who I need to check out—now we’ve both got homework). Oxygen Tank’s 4-song EP, Demo 2021, is short, sweet (if punk and hardcore can be sweet), and there is no messing around. Since you’re clearly in a reading mood, too, check out this article here on the ever venerable NoEcho and enjoy.

Oh and look! I’ve saved you some work! You can see the EP below!
