Fridge Poetry 25 - Even wicked people are people

The wicked-souled

and wanton-hearted endure as you and I.

They know

hard time,

the ache of a life without love,

without music or beauty,

a world full of fever and easy damnation,

hardheaded proof about naked,

vulgar,

moments

promises with naught to show.

They say goodbye,

know the raw kiss of death

and kneel before that dark divide.
