Fridge Poetry 39 - Laughing at the sky

I will soar

and discover heaven,

though melancholy and pleasure

make a divide,

while distance makes this heart drunk with torment

and I’m…

I’d be…

if you…

…it’s me.

But through fire,

I have come to laugh at god and infinity.

There is more than the gold mine.

Give me

love,

honour,

magic,

beauty,

art,

genius.
