He was always so square,

between boy and man,

without guile,

and too caring;

belonging,

but beside us.

One without two,

some trifling ugly sucker,

a winged soul,

a darling dreamer who kissed the lips of life

and curiosity.

So, to him I say,

please join us

as my neighour,

as my best friend,

as my brother.
