Fridge Poetry 2 - Ghost Crow

All that is true is not always

sweet

or

peaceful

or

flush with honeymoon love

and the ghost crow speaks ugly truths,

the quiet dread a man feels as he

faces his mortality;

lost hearts who whisper only of

overwhelming loneliness.

Too many everyday heroes discover infinity too soon.

To see the world is to mourn

and also to hope for our young.
