Fridge Poetry 21 - No Heroes

I want to

drink out of the fire goblet

soar above this earth

in between cloud and sky

delve down in a mind full with curiosity

believe like only lovers do

always find ugly day within cunning night

let the strangeness of life bloom

look under an evil-faced god

find sacred love at midnight

know unknown raven languages

shed away this loathsome vulgar skin

make my self stronger than I am

and speak my simple tale

but, for now I walk here and

there are no heroes here,

only echoers in a lonely universe,

only honeyed vows.

I only hold on.
