Fridge Poetry 28 - Bruised heart

Delve into delight

and let your lover into

your circle.

All my life I’d let my mind question

if love forgot me.

Please,

please,

pretty please,

as wild as I’ve been,

if you see me,

you’ll know how she tore out my heart.

But what we had has

my ugly self here.
